I always find staff parties amusing. Not because I’m terribly good at remembering what happened. But because I have to wait to get my photos off my camera before I can tell what sort of state I, and my co-works, were in. Usually, I’m a little bit snap-happy and people get annoyed with guerrilla tactics of sneaking up on people and getting them in a more action-style shot, rather than letting them pose and smile. I prefer it like that; it creates a more humourous photo.
This years staff party has a hogmony-style affair, complete with traditional dancing, haggis (yummy!), and kilts. Well, on a few of us, anyway. It was thoroughly enjoyable, and a big gold star to Jon Fisher for organising it. His traffic-cop style directing meant the food got to us effieciantly and still hot. Lovely jubbly!
Anyhoo, check out the photos, if you want. I hope no one gets too offended from work! ![]()
I’m particularly impressed with Phil’s antics
I’m imagining this precursor to the next Monopoly Pub Crawl has set the standard for Edinburgh?
