The Beer Hunter v1.1.5

…the 2 pretty much go hand-in-hand. You can’t get beer without money, And there’s no point in having money if you can’t buy beer! That said, this weekend was especially significant. I’ll explain later but first, allow me to digress.

On Friday, I went to a 3-way (nothing filthy, you dirty buggers!), joint Birthday celebration. It was a ‘Trailer-trash’ themed party. Everyone really made the effort and looked hilarious. Except me. I had no idea what to wear, so I got a black hoody with “ASBO” written on the chest. What could be more trashy than someone with an ASBO!? Anyhoo, the night turned out to be a bit shit, ’cause one of my mates was being particularly annoying. Bless his little black heart!

Ok. I just got back from Birmingham. Me and a few work mates went up there to see Tenacious D, if you hadn’t of already guessed that from the title, at the NEC.

In the words of the band themselves “They rocked our f***ing socks off”! It was brilliant. Like watching a really cool play that consisted entirely of songs.

Excellent! Party on, dudes!

It took our combined will power, courage, mettle and livers to complete the 26 pubs of the Dublin Monopoly Pub Crawl, but we did it. And we’re all very proud of ourselves.

All-in-all it was an excellent weekend away, and one I’m very likely never to remember. But that’s not important, because we have photo evidence to remind just what a good day it was.

Woooooooohooooooooo! The day of reckoning is upon us! At 9-something this evening our “Circle” of friends from work are going to get on-board an old and shoddily built RyanAir plane. An hour later and we’ll be in Dublin… awesome!
